About us
The Sugarworks Postproduction was established in 2023 in Birkenhead Auckland.
The name of our facility is a nod to the iconic Chelsea Sugar Factory on the southern shore of Birkenhead.
Lead by Charlotte and Andy, The Sugarworks post is one of the North Shore's only dedicated postproduction facility.
A Professional & Inclusive Post Production Environment
We want The Sugarworks to be a place where people can do their best work.
Our facility is wheelchair accessible and LGBTQI+ friendly. We welcome people from different backgrounds and aim to provide a respectful, culturally understanding environment for clients, collaborators and production teams.

Charlotte, a seasoned video editor and director with nearly 25 years of experience, excels in storytelling and technical expertise. She has collaborated with top production houses locally and internationally, building a diverse portfolio of dramas, documentaries, and magazine-style shows.
Her notable works include Misconceptions – First Trimester Miscarriages, an award-winning NZ on Air-funded documentary series honored for Best Editing at the International Women’s Film Festival in New York, and Unravelling Anxiety, which won Best Web Series at the LA Independent Women Film Awards.
Known for her precision, creativity, and passion, Charlotte is a highly respected professional in the industry.
Andy is a seasoned veteran in post-production and engineering, with over 25 years of experience in television and film workflows.
He has moved with the evolving landscape of media technology, making him a trusted authority in the field.
